Harrisonburg Residents Directory is a privately operated reference to public indexes, records offices, and historical collections for Harrisonburg, Virginia. It does not host government records and has no affiliation with a government office, court, or custodian.
2. Acceptable Use
Use the service only for lawful purposes. You may not use it or material found through it to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm a person
- Locate a person protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft, fraud, or another unlawful act
- Make FCRA-regulated decisions about credit, employment, tenant screening, or insurance
- Scrape, copy, or republish content at scale
- Interfere with the service, its operation, or its security
3. No Consumer Reports
This service is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. §1681 et seq. Nothing on it or returned by a linked tool is a consumer report, and it may not be used to determine eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-covered purpose.

Code §§2.2-3700 through 2.2-3715, especially §2.2-3704. Sensitive records remain subject to their separate statutes, including Va. Code §32.1-271 for vital records and §§24.2-418 and 24.2-444 for voter records.
12. Severability
If a provision of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
